Theme: Giving God Our All

sermon theme for 2013

Theme Verse: Mark 12:29-31 Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Does it scare you when you consider giving up all of yourself to God? If the answer is yes, have you thought to yourself why it's so scary? Whatever your reason or excuse maybe, read the following verses ( Romans 8:28; Romans 8:31; Romans 8:37; I John 4:4; Philippians 4:13)

Grab a check(s) out of your checkbook and fill it out like the image of our theme this year.

Now, since Jesus is the only one that can redeem this for you, will this check bounce or is it good? Can He really make this type of withdrawal from you or is this just wishful religious thinking? Surrender is a must, but it must be by choice and not force.

When you are ready, place the check in your bathroom or bedroom mirror so that you can see it everyday in 2013. If you want this to be your reality, let's work on it together. We want to aid you in your growth in the Lord in loving Him with ALL your HEART, SOUL, MIND, & STRENGTH!

The lessons will be geared to equip you for the journey you are embarking on.

Are you willing to put it all on the line in allowing His character to become more and yours less? This year's theme is designed to help all who desire the character of God to be a living reality in their lives.

We invite you to give God your all with us!
